the Ramayana is based on true events or is a creation of myth

Whether you think the Ramayana is based on true events or is a creation of myth and legend is up to you. There is no proof either way, yet the epic is nevertheless revered as a cultural and religious classic, inspiring and influencing the uninformed.

Scholars and historians disagree on whether the Ramayana is based on historical events or is a work of fiction and folklore. Notwithstanding the lack of evidence supporting the claim that the events of the Ramayana truly occurred, a large portion of the Indian population continues to think that the epic is based on historical events and genuine people.

If the events described in the Ramayanaya are historically accurate, then you and every other Indian today trace your ancestry back to the two children Sita had in India after her abduction by Ravana, the ruler of Ceylon.??

Sita is saved by Rama, and the two of them return to Ayodhya, where Sita gives birth to her children, Lava and Kusha. Being loyal to Rama while in captivity with Ravana,?? Do you think Rama is the father of these children, and can we accept Sita's devotion to Rama during her captivity with Ravana? Do you believe it? Ravana was a king who was more powerful than Rama.

Can you explain why Sita is requested to give her life in the Agni Pooja (Fire Sacrifice)? Rama, according to the Ramayana, requests that Sita undergo the Agni (fire test) following her return from Sri Lanka in order to prove her purity and fidelity. ? How do you make up the narrative of Rama exiling Sita from Ayodhya when she was pregnant by Ravana? Isn't the fact that she's pregnant by Ravana ?

According to the Ramayana, aren't Lava and Kusha Indian ancestors? While Indians believed Rama was the father of Lava and Kusha, Ravana is the true father who was the ruler of Sri Lanka.
